Robert is an accomplished Human Resource and Organizational Development Professional who brings extensive experience in the design and delivery of development programs to his role at SNOWDEN. He enjoys a proven track record in the health care, leisure, recreation, hospitality, medical products, manufacturing and telecommunications sectors.
During his career, Robert worked for Brunswick Corporation, Home Depot, Motorola and Rutland Regional Medical Center. His specific expertise encompasses career counseling as well as, employee development. His ability to partner with clients to explore options and guide their decision-making to achieve outcomes has earned him a high level of integrity and respect in all aspects of his business relationships.
A graduate of Champlain College and Plymouth State University, Plymouth, NH; Robert earned an AS/BS in Business Administration. He also participated in Graduate Studies in Organizational Behavior at Benedictine University, Lisle, IL.
A Robert enjoyed his contribution to the creation and implementation of video/computer-based simulations to develop leaders, telemarketers and customer service associates. He presented at the National Restaurant Association, Bowling Proprietors Association of America and Vermont State Human Resource and Mentoring organizations.
Robert's professional affiliations include SHRM (Society of Human Resource Management), ASTD (American Society of Training and Development), ACA (American Compensation Association) and CHART (Council of Hotel and Restaurant Trainers).
A believer in giving back and making a difference in the lives of others, he has been active in communities of residence. Robert served as an Elementary School Board Member, Lake Villa, IL, and Director of Skokie, IL Chamber of Commerce. He was appointed Planning Commissioner, Clarendon, VT and Rutland, VT Regional Planning Commission. In recent years, Robert served as a Board Member on the Rutland, VT Regional Work Force Investment Board and has been very active in the Mentor Connector organization that provides mentors for children in need of adult support.
Robert and his wife Cathy reside in Durham, NH and enjoy their role as grandparents to seven grandchildren living in New Hampshire and Florida.
